In February we welcome and thank our corporate sponsors, foundation supporters, and community partners to recognize and award our Community Builder Awardee. 

Each fall, we gather to thank our donors for their support and celebrate the naming of the Katherine Van Duysen Volunteer of the Year awardee and the naming of Life Trustees Honorees. 

Every two years, The Community Revue brings together talented local performers, sharp satire, and Broadway-style entertainment for a high-energy, one-of-a-kind theatrical experience. Over four nights, this beloved production entertains more than 1,000 residents, offering a hilarious, lighthearted take on local events, pop culture, and Hinsdale life.

Our Walk for Mental Health unites the community in solidarity to share stories, inspire one another, and increase awareness about the importance of equitable access to mental health services. Each year, more than 700 walkers and a dozen volunteers gather from more than 20 zip codes to walk a mile to create hope and celebrate community at a vibrant post-walk party. Funds raised at this event go towards The Counseling Center at The Community House which allows us to continue to offer mental health services on a sliding income-based scale.

More than 80 teams, 300 players from 3rd grade – adult age divisions, and 1,000 spectators, gather each year to compete for a championship! This event helps raise key funds for The Community House. As a nonprofit organization, we are not supported by tax dollars.

The Holiday Ball is our premiere fundraising event and kicks off the holiday season in Hinsdale. This must-attend community celebration regularly sells out at over 400 seats. The Holiday Ball typically raises $700,000 for our critical social impact areas like the Spark Youth Development Initiative and The Counseling Center ensuring all families have equitable access to these vitally important services.
